This app. is just like using a 'Quick Reference Card' (for those of you who can remember far back enough to know what what they are)

The primary benefit of this app is that it is a very simple reminder of the list of DBT Skills with a brief definition. Having it on your mobile device is really convenient.

Do you know what it's like to be in DBT group discussing homework and one of the therapists asks what is going on in your life and you can go into great detail about the sitation, but when asked what skills you used, you have to say, "I couldn't remember any skills at the time" Well, now you can get a quick skill list reminder if you just pull out your iPhone or other device and check on what skills are available to you.

Manage your emotions and improve your relationships with DBT Review, a personal-use DBT tool. This app was designed as a learning adjunct for people learning DBT or working with a DBT therapist. The four categories of skills are covered. The app is based on Marsha Linehan's "Cognitive-Behavioral Treatment for Borderline Personality Disorder" (1993). This app is not recommended for anyone unfamiliar with DBT skills and is not a substitute for therapy.
